The five Stages of the Journey

A structured path that scales with their confidence.

Stage 1- Curious Reader

Goal: Build Comfort and Interest in reading

Mentors spark curiosity by: sharing intriguing glimpses and story moments, asking engaging questions, helping children feel comfortable with books

Outcome: The child begins reading willingly and consistently.

Stage 2- Genre Explorer

Goal: Expand horizons across stories and ideas.

Children explore a wide range of genres: fantasy, mystery, mythology, realistic fiction, biographies, adventure

Outcome: Exposure to diverse worlds, Ideas, and perspectives.

Stage 3- Deep Thinker

The Anatomy of a Session

Each session is designed to feel natural, conversational, and intellectually stimulating — not academic or pressured.

Phase 1:
The Warm-Up (5 Minutes)
Every session kicks off with a fun, brain-teasing riddle. It breaks the ice, gets the child comfortable, and immediately gets their cognitive gears turning.
Phase 2:
The Core Discussion (Paced to the Child)
Starting a new book: We explore the book exactly where the child is at in their reading journey. We introduce the story, set the stage, and build massive anticipation.
Mid Journey: We discuss the plot so far, uncover hidden details, and use quick activities to boost their curiosity for the next chapters.
Finishing a book: We celebrate the completion! We reflect on key takeaways, debate character choices, and explore subtle details most people completely miss.
Phase 3:
Guided Reading
We transition back to the physical book. Mentors guide the children through their current chapter—or help them dive into the first few pages of a brand-new adventure—ensuring they are hooked before the session ends.
Phase 4:
The Finale (15-20 Minutes)
We step away from the book and wrap up the session with hands-on writing. Through engaging, fun activities, children practice organizing their thoughts, building vocabulary, and developing essential communication skills.

Every Child Moves at Their Own Pace

From Exploring Stories to Creating Their Own

After a child has explored enough books, genres, and ideas, they unlock a meaningful milestone — the Creator Project.

With guidance from their mentor, they:

  • Imagine their own story world
  • create characters
  • structure a short narrative
  • complete their own mini book

They recieve:

  • a beautiful formulatted digital copy
  • original printed version
  • opportunity to be featured in our Young Creaters showcase (with parent permission)

Outcome: A meaningful reflection of their growth as a reader and thinker.

Never ask "How was class?" again.

You ask about their day, and you get a one-word answer: 'Fine.' We change that by giving you a front-row seat to their cognitive and creative growth after every single session.

Tutoring teaches grammar and comprehension for exams. We build critical thinking and confidence through 1-on-1 book discussions with college mentors. Your child learns to think independently, not memorize answers.
Q: My child doesn't like reading. will this work?
Most children don't hate reading—they hate boring books and being tested on them. We pick books based on their interests (sports, adventure, mystery) and make reading feel like a conversation with a cool older sibling, not homework.
Q: will my child actually complete books?
Yes. We read together during sessions (20 min reading + 40 min discussion), so there's no "homework pressure." Most books are completed in 4-6 weekly sessions, and children often ask to read ahead because they're genuinely curious.

Outcome: With guidance from their mentor, The child completes their own mini book — a meaningful reflection of their growth as a reader, thinker, and creator.

This is not a fixed curriculum or fast-track program.

Children progress based on: comfort with reading, curiosity, engagement, exploration across genres.

Most families begin noticing stronger reading interest, deeper conversations, and improved expression within the first few months.

The Creator milestone is introduced only when it feels earned and meaningful.
